Mustang Sales
« on: January 07, 2020, 08:52:48 AM »
Just preparing a report for an overseas client and thought some may be interested in some useless information:

New Mustang sales down by 38.4% in 2019 when the market over all was down 7.8%. Passenger vehicles down 16.5%.
(Perhaps the over 50's have gone back to buying Harley's  )

SUV's continue their charge to market dominance with 45% of the total market.
Always dreamed I'd have one!

Pretty typical for sports cars/personal coupes: they go gangbusters when they're launched only to drop away when they're no longer the new 'it' car to buy.

Mustang seems to have done better than most though, it's taken a few years for sales to start dropping.  Just goes to show there must have been a lot of pent up demand.  :thumb:
Cheers,
Brian
