I s'pose they're different to an earlier one? I have a couple of '66 ones and you could have one.

i think hes after the arm assy. 69 is different to 70 as will as the cable length by memory.

Yes, Trev is correct. The 70 pedal arm assembly is different to the 69 ones and they were made for one year only. The repo units are based upon the 69 assembly and so they don't have the correct pick-up for the accelerator cable and are no good either.

I found out this the hard way when trying to assemble everything and found the pieces didn't go together. After a lot of head scratching it looks like my car aquired a 69 pedal at some time in its life. Restoration is never easy....

If you cant find one locally, just join the 69stang site and post in the wanted section, there are also a lot of 70's on the site.

That's a very good forum. I haven't joined (yet) but have had a look from time to time.

Thanks, it seems they have heard my cries for help and people are posting them. They trouble is that they must think I am a millionaire and are asking big sums of money for what they are. Ye :smile01:s they are original but not quite pristine... :smile01: :smile01:

This car was a May 1970 build so its not like they were using up left over parts. Maybe they were having a clean up and found an old box and thought no one would know if they slipped them into production.
