Triple Black 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible
« on: February 05, 2018, 11:14:37 AM »
Hi All,

Hopefully it's ok to post the Cougar here, we are a bit short for Cougar specific forums !

Full blurb is in the carsales ad below but I have owned the car over 10 years and its a nice unit. Very unique, I am yet to see another on the road or at car shows, certainly stands out among the rest. Usual story, too many toys and not enough time, it needs to go to someone that can enjoy it regularly. After 35k, advertised higher for inevitable beat down. :smash:

Always good to see another Cougar lover  on the forums  :hi:

Nice car - I think you've priced it a bit low, should be able to get close to $40K if it's as clean as it looks.

If i were you I'd sell the plates separately - think of all the middle aged single women that would be interested...
Cheers,
Brian

With so many combo options; is the plate market even luke-warm these days?

It's been decades since I heard of a plate reaching triple figures, of course that excludes single digit plates.

Umm, isn't $100 triple figures?  :leaving:

Funny story about the plates, I had them "parked" on my wifes daily for a short time, she was not impressed with all the attention it got her !
