For real?
« on: January 06, 2018, 10:49:31 AM »
I have several questions for the seller of this car......first one is how did he or she come up with the BIN price of $42,610?
If you're asking good money for a supposedly 7K mile car, surely you can provide some better pics of the car and some documentation to prove your claim.
That engine bay doesn't look like 7K miles to me.

You have to remember the car is 47 years old, he's from the rust belt and the car car is stored in a damp old barn. It is not going to look like a new car even with only 7000 miles, all the bits that Ford left in bare metal will rust just from the moisture in the air.

Barn find or not, seller has his/her hand on it.  Not a particularly rare car nor even one of the most desirable colours...
Cheers,
Brian

Agree with Brian and asking for more pics, would like to see the underside if its in a moisture ridden area. A lot of people are watching though so will be interesting to see what it's sold for.   What has got me stumped is how they worked out that specific price however ?

It's the USA, she probably needs surgery and that's what it'll cost. It's how many in the US deal with something like that; sell something for the cost of the procedure in order to have it done.

They do mention in the ad that the price is 10x the orig purchase price.

It has been in dry storage for over 30 years, but did set outside for a bit after its track days, then moved back inside
