Cleaning alloy heads
« on: December 09, 2017, 09:19:57 AM »
I want to clean up a set of alloy GT40x heads before I sell them.

What's the best way to clean them all up inside & out?

If your not pulling the valve train out all you can do is give them a wash with kero, as you may wash dirt or grit into the valve guides if your give them a bath.
Normally a caustic wash bath will bring them up sparkling.

Heads are currently bare, with only the viton seals fitted.

If I get them home before my family return from holidays on Thurs morning, they're dishwasher bound!!!!!!
