Power steering problem

Having issues after replacing power steering control valve hoses . Steering is easy turning left but real hard turning right 4month old power steering control valve needed  help thanks

Make sure you have the hoses on the right way .

Jack up the front wheels off the ground (make sure it's in park). Start the engine but dont't touch the steering wheel. If it swings to one side violantly it is centering adjustment issue in the control valve.

Wheel dosnt move when jacked up and engine on

Are you saying the control valve is 4 months old? do you still have the old one?

Did you edit original post... thought it read differently yesterday.

So all was worling fine for a number of months,  hoses were changed for some reason....then problem first appeared?

Out of curiosity were hoses leaking or just replaced due to age? No leaks from anywhere?

Found problem one hose had a rubber stuck in it not allowing flow

Do appreciate your attempted dedication to the metric system however ‘meter’ is spelt metre, nice thought however .., :lol:

There could be some rubbish in the control valve when you changed the hoses blocking one of the ports, or some dirt has damaged one of the seal cups.

I would try and adjust the control valve prior to removal first

Al , he found that a hose had a blockage in it. A few posts up from yours.
66 A code fastback 289w , t5 , 3.8truetrak.
56 F100 Deluxe custom cab. Major frame off resto. 347w , AOD , Custom 9inch , 3.7 powertrax , IFS , Parallel 4 link rear. Airbags , Low enough to kill ants. Still in progress.
