The Gnoo Blas Classic is a classic car show staged at Jack Brabham Park in the centre of the old Gnoo Blas Road Racing Circuit - Orange NSW. A nostalgic weekend of great cars not to miss - you can travel the cirucit of champions whilst enjoying the serene surroundings of beautiful old trees and reserves.
The Gnoo Blas Circuit was a motor racing circuit formed from rural roads and highways outside of the town of Orange, around the grounds of Bloomfield Hospital and what is now known as Sir Jack Brabham Park. It was 6.03 km long.  The name 'Gnoo Blas' came from early survey maps.  In Aboriginal it meant ''twin shoulders'' and referred to what is now known as Mount Canobolas.
Opened in 1953 the circuit held the inaugural Australian Touring Car Championship event in 1960 - won by David McKay.
Built by the Orange City and Canobolas Shire councils the Gnoo Blas circuit is an important part of motor sport history with most of Australia's best drivers having competed here.  Drivers including - Jack Brabham, Stan Jones, Alex Mildren and Bob Jane.
In its time it was established as the fastest circuit in Australia, with a lap record of 105mph (169kmh), 15% faster than Mount Panorama - Reg Hunt set this speed in a Maserati in 1956.
The Gnoo Blas Club keep alive the history of the old circuit whilst raising funds for various charities and projects.

The Silverwater Motor Festival is a family focused celebration of the positives in motoring. Built on a 17 year tradition of family entertainment by Brotherhood CMC at the Silverwater Street and Custom Motorcycle Show, this grass roots Festival showcases custom motorcycles, hotrods, classic cars, street machines and competition cars combined with live music and family fun for all ages.
Live music, kids entertainment, club and trade displays, trophies including Peoples Choice for bikes and cars. Competition entry under Silverwater Bridge 10am - 12 noon.

The inaugural Valvoline Bathurst Autofest is set down to take place on the weekend of March 17th and 18th 2012. Planned events will include Go to Whoa, Showcar Masters on display within the main pit garages, Show N Shine, Motokana, Corkscrew, Parade Laps around the Mount Panorama circuit and of course everyone's favourite the Burnout Comp. Limited camping will be available for entrants and clubs attending, this event will only be operating one Campground only – the Paddock Campground, located behind the Pit Area and more on this will be released shortly along with Entry Forms and other event information

9:15 AM - 3:15 PM Shannons Wheels is one of three major annual events hosted by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs. Proudly hosted by the Canberra Antique & Classic Motor Club. Since 1982, hundreds of vehicle enthusiasts have participated in this trip down memory lane which is an official part of the Canberra Festival supported by Australian Capital Tourism and Celebrate Canberra. Shannons Wheels is also the Council's annual charity display day, raising over $300,000 for local Canberra charities in 25 years. Local motoring enthusiasts benefit from the display of over 1100 vintage, veteran, historic, classic, modified cars, commercials, fire engines, radio controlled cars and motor cycles.

The NSW Mustang Owners Club invites you to the 2012 Nationals. Where - In Australia’s second oldest City, Newcastle! Accommodation at the Executive Inn which is a 4.5 Star property in the suburb of New Lambton. It adjoins and is part of WESTS New Lambton. WESTS is a modern club venue and we will be in the Club for breakfasts and for our Friday Meet and Greet function on the Terrace. Our Saturday and Sunday functions will both be in the Club’s Starlight Room. There is secure parking under the hotel.
Plan for the Weekend –
Friday Afternoon. For those of you that are ready to explore, a short, 40 minute drive is planned to the old Hunter River port, Morpeth. On it’s gas lit main street there are many boutique shops, second hand shops, and café options in this delightful historic town. Later, Meet and Greet Function on the Terrace.
Saturday, the Concours will take place in a secure area close to The Executive Inn on Saturday morning. For those not involved in Concours, a Mustang drive to the Hunter Valley is planned for Saturday morning. Mid-day venue, The Hunter Gardens. In the afternoon, explore vineyards, the cheese factories, or simply enjoy the scenery prior to heading back to The Executive Inn in your own time. Auction night in the Starlight Room!
Sunday - The Mustang Show - venue for the Mustang Show is Foreshore Park. From the park, it is a short walk to the Hunter Street Mall or to the multiple food vendors and restaurants which surround the riverside Brewery. Then, Sunday evening, our Presentation Dinner is in the Starlight Room.
Monday - easy drive to Caves Beach Hotel for lunch. Caves Beach is a spectacular surf beach on the Southern border of Greater Newcastle. It is a 30-40 minute drive from New Lambton and on the road home to Sydney for many participants.

As usual Wintersun 2012 will feature a great range of entertainment from Swing to rockabilly and dance to Cabaret along with hot rods, customs, classic cars, plenty of stall vendors and a brand new venue.
The Wintersun Car Show is generally for pre-1974 vehicles, we now also have a special interest category. Vehicles need to register prior to attending and must display the correct entry sticker. Space is limited and the car activities are expected to be full well before June.
All vehicles must be roadworthy, insured and either registered or on an acceptable permit. Trade plates are not permitted for cruises.
