Login problem
« on: May 20, 2017, 06:39:27 AM »
I can't login using the "normal" login under the club logo, after entering my username & password and click login in it says "Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again." The login that sits between register & search works.
Happens on the computer as well as iPad.

Same on my end.
There's another thread posted for this issue.

Hi Members, It does seem that the last forum patch that was applied about a week ago does have some issues that are noted on the SMF Support forum.

I am looking into what we can do to resolve the situation.

Regards  Peterp
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the Duct Tape.

That's cool, I'm more concerned about the (Not Secure) popping up in the address bar

You're seeing that because this site isn't run under SSL(https as opposed to http), which in an ideal situation it probably should be.

Yes we want to apply an SSL Cerificate to the forum but unfortunately at this point SMF doesn't support it.

There is a new version of SMF V4 which we will be upgrading to as soon as it is available, after the upgrade we will be able to apply https to the forum.
