1. What you can post:
You can post anything relevant to the world of Mustangs, Fords, Car Parts, Car Sales and Muscle Cars. Remember to place your message in the correct forum area; that way it is more likely to attract the attention of someone knowledgeable in the subject.
2. What you can't post:
A. Commercial Advertising is strictly not allowed bar that by Forum Sponsors
Only private ads by private individuals are allowed - All other forms of advertising will be deleted, including those that we deem to be in the disguise of private ads.
Please Note: The Mustang Owners Club of Australia does not endorse any items, cars or services posted in the FOR SALE sections of our forum.
B. No copyrighted or trademarked material:
You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or if The Mustang Owners Club of Australia owns the copyright. Although we do not and cannot review the messages prior to being posted and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold The Mustang Owners Club of Australia harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). For example, this means that, without prior permission, you may not post a verbatim copy of an equipment review from a car magazine, or an image of a manufacturer's trademarked logo.
C. No defamatory statements:
Defamatory statements are, for example, statements that contain certain kinds of untrue factual information about a person or a company that is derogatory. It’s okay to say that the "Car was not repaired to your satisfaction." It's not okay to say that the Repair or work doesn't meet its published specifications, unless you back the statement up with proof. Likewise, it's not okay to accuse a person or company of being dishonest, committing fraud, etc.
As a general rule, avoid repeating vague and unsubstantiated rumours about someone or some company. Stick to your experiences and your opinions based on what you know not what you have heard on the grapevine.
D. No flames, personal attacks or contentious off-topic comments. You agree to not debate, argue or insult any Mustang Owners Club of Australia’s staff, club member, and forum member or volunteer publicly or privately on mustang.org.au/forum at any time nor place links to other websites with defamatory content aimed at MOCA. If this rule is breached then your account and privileges are revoked without hesitation. We have zero tolerance for insubordinate behaviour.
E. You agree to not bash, discredit or speak negatively of the Mustang Club or any affiliate community sites or their staff nor discuss the administration or financial matters of the Mustang Club here on the open forum, these type of discussions belong at club meetings.
F. No pictures or videos of naked or semi naked people. Strictly no pornography. No links to sites containing any of the aforementioned content or bad language/text.
Violation of this rule can result in suspension from the forum.
G. No images any wider than 750 please. We prefer 700. Any wider than 750 bumps the screen too wide on a standard screen width.
H. Avatar file size is to be limited to 200k please. Larger files sizes slows down the downloading of the forum.
The idea is to make this a pleasant environment to discuss Mustangs, not a schoolyard, or name-calling and rock-throwing festival.
We are pro-community, this is a family oriented site and expect all members to treat it as such and to abide by these policies and their intentions.
Please enjoy our Forum
