The 2010 Mustang Nationals will be held in Glenelg SA over the Easter weekend of 2-4 April and hosted by the Mustang Owners Club of SA. This event is the highlight of the annual Mustang calendar where Mustangers from all over Australia and New Zealand gather to either display their vehicles or enter the competition sections.

The Nationals is open to members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia through their affiliated State Clubs and is always a major attraction to the public and local community wherever and whenever the event is held. We expect in excess of 200 Mustangs from local and interstate (i.e. members of Mustang Owners Club Australia Branches - Queensland, NSW, Victoria and WA) will be in attendance.

The West Torrens Birkalla Soccer Club facility at Novar Gardens is the venue for the Nationals judging day on Sunday 4th April 2010. Together with a range of sponsor, food and refreshment facilities we propose extending an invitation to other special interest Clubs to display their vehicles.

All our activities over the weekend will centre in and around the Glenelg precinct particularly the Holdfast Shores Marina and Jetty Road.

The functions for each of the nights will be as follows;

Friday night
Meet and greet function is at the Comfort Inn Haven Marina. Theme is "Club/State" shirt.

Saturday night
Dinner/Dance/Auction is at the Glenelg Football Club Function Centre. Buses will transport all people from their accommodation to the Function Centre and return. The evening itinerary will include an open and silent auction and a band. It will be a 1980's theme, so check for the wardrobe and come dressed for the occasion.

Sunday night
Presentation dinner is at the Glenelg Football Club Function Centre. Buses will transport all people from their accommodation to the Function Centre and return. The theme for the night is semi formal.

MUSTANG SHOW & CONCOURS

The West Torrens Birkalla Soccer Club, Novar Gardens on the corner of Anzac Highway and Morphett Road adjacent to the Morphettville Racecourse, is the venue for the Sunday Nationals Concours and Display day. Full catering facilities and merchandise stands will be available. Gates open from 7.30am for entries and from 10.00am for the public.

Entry on the day is as follows;

Display - Not Judged
This catergory is open to all Mustang owners who simply wish to display their car for the day. As a bonus, a range of sponsors will walk the park and select Sponsor Choice awards for their favourite - CONVERTIBLE, COUPE and FASTBACK for each of the Mustang generations. These Awards will be presented from 3.00pm.
Entry fee is $15/car and cars must be parked by 9.30am.

Display - Judged
This catergory is only open to Financial Members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia Inc. which includes its affiliated bodies in WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
Originality and modifications to the car in this class is not a consideration, only condition and presentation of what is in place at the time of judging, shall be taken into account.
Entry fee is $25/car and cars must be parked by 8.30am. Last day for entries is 20 March 2010. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday night.

Concours - Modified
This catergory is only open to Financial Members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia Inc. which includes its affiliated bodies in WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
Originality to the car in this class is not a consideration, only presentation and modifications to the car shall be taken into account at the time of judging. Owners are able to list up to 15 modifications that they would like to bring to the attention of the judges but the modifications must be visible for the judge to verify.
Entry fee is $35/car and cars must be parked by 8.00am. Last day for entries is 3 February 2010. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday night.

Concours - Original
This catergory is only open to Financial Members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia Inc. which includes its affiliated bodies in WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
Open to Mustangs which are of original manufacture as per the VIN/ID Plate and with a build date of minimum 10 years. Originality and condition of the car is paramount.
Entry fee is $35/car and cars must be parked by 8.00am. Last day for entries is 3 February 2010. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday night.

Concours - Thoroughbred
This catergory is only open to Financial Members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia Inc. which includes its' affiliated bodies in WA, QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
In addition, the class is only open to entries which have been MOCA Original Class winners from 1996. They must have been either the highest Gold Class winner of the Original Class or nominated by the Head Judge for elevation to this class. Originality and condition is paramount.
Entry fee is $45/car and cars must be parked by 8.00am. Last day for entries is 3 February 2010. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday night.
